The Woden Valley ???Sharks??? Swim Club was established in Canberra on 21 June, 1971. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest and most successful swim clubs in the Canberra region. Our swimmers range in age from 6 to 18 years, and in ability from pre-competitive swimmers through to swimmers who have achieved national and international time standards. Our swimmers are regularly successful in various Australian state and national events, and also at international events. Woden swimmers competed at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004 and in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, bringing home two Bronze Medals.
